Yes, it's true - June 30 will mark
the end of an era in Mt. Pleasant.
The decision to close The Embers has
been difficult for Jeff Tuma, who has spent 39 years involved
in the eatery. The restaurant was opened by his father, Clarence
Tuma, in 1958 and has been the site of engagements, reunions
and a place for slow-paced, white linen dinners, drinks and
conversation for almost 50 years.
With a staff that feels
more like family, Tuma said that it will be difficult to
walk away for good when The Embers closes on June 30. The
Tuma family would like to thank you for years of patronage
and friendship.
